Your fair trade instrument is hand made in Ghana by African musicians and craftsmen and women. By buying an instrument you will support African musicians and African musical traditions. Thank you from Africa.

Fair Trade for us means fair trade to our customers in the UK as well. We aim to make our instruments available in the UK at a fair price while maintaining high quality.

AfricanMusicalInstruments is involved in a number of projects that support African communities. These include:

Meet Me There African Home Lodge. We started building this beautiful lodge in 2004 and have now donated it to the local community. It is run by the community and all profits go into projects to benefit the community of Dzita in the Volta Region of Ghana.
