Double Agogo Bell - Medium

Two hand-forged iron bells on a wooden handle, and one of the oldest voices in West African music. Strike each cone of this medium double agogo with a stick and you get two distinct pitches - the high-low conversation that has driven Ghanaian and Yoruba rhythm for centuries and travelled the world into Afrobeat, samba and modern percussion sections.

The medium size sits comfortably in the hand and produces a clear, penetrating tone that cuts cleanly through ensemble playing without dominating it.
